Organizator je ubrzo poslao javno izvinjenje, navodeći da je došlo do slučajnog propusta, a pored zastava i u samoj sali, gde se održavaju konferencije su uklonjena sva obeležja lažne šiptarske države sa srpskim imenom “Kosovo”.
Beograd je domaćin 49. kongresa UEFA.
