Army troops targeted a bus that was carrying the militants with an anti-tank guided missile as it was passing near the town of Khirbat al-Naqus in the al-Ghab Plains in northwestern Hama.
Opposition activists shared a video showing the remains of the slain militants scattered around the targeted bus after the missile strike.

This was the deadliest attack to target the TIP since the start of the year. The group is mainly active in northern Lattakia, northwestern Hama and northwestern Idlib.
The SAA and its allies went hard on al-Qaeda factions in Greater Idlib this week. On February 2, warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed a headquarters of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham in northern Idlib. On February 3, Russian airstrikes wiped out a camp of Ajnad al-Kavkaz.
Al-Qaeda’s affiliates violate Greater Idlib ceasefire, which was brokered by Russia and Turkey on March 5 of last year, on a regular basis.
Responses to these violations are getting harsher and harsher. Meanwhile, Turkey continues to turn a blind eye to al-Qaeda’s presence in Greater Idlib.
